Robbery suspect found inside Kennewick home, police locate fourth shooting suspect
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Officials are investigating a crime scene after finding a wanted robbery suspect inside a Kennewick home.
Investigators said robbery suspect, Angel J. Martinez, 32, of Pasco was inside the residence located at 5th Avenue between Washington and Auburn, March 3 around 9:30 a.m.
Kennewick police and Benton County sheriff deputies barricaded the house and the suspect surrendered according to reports.
Police said Martinez was arrested and is currently wanted for charges of 1st degree robbery.
The Tri-City Regional SWAT Team is working to clear the home for further evidence.
Police said Martinez was also believed to be involved in a shooting with three other suspects that occurred on South Dayton Place in Kennewick February 19.
The fourth suspect, Romero Sanchez, 21, of Kennewick was found shortly after Martinez's arrest around 1:13 p.m.
Reports said surveillance caught Sanchez entering a house in the 2400 block of Horizon View Lane in Richland.
SWAT teams went to Richland and arrested Sanchez as he was driving away from the house.
KPD officials are investigating both houses where these break-ins occurred for more crime evidence.
