Authorities identified the victim as 43-year-old David Silva of Yakima.
Officers say the man died after being shot in the head. Investigators say he has no gang affiliation.
Police got the call shortly after midnight to the 300 block of Cherry Avenue. Officers found him on the porch of a home along with two others who were shot.
Investigators say a 23-year-old man suffered a minor injury to the area around his forearm and hand. The third victim is a 19-year-old woman who was shot in the face. There's no word on her condition.
Detectives say the woman is the only victim who has any sort of gang connection, but there's no indication she's a member. They also don't know if she was the intended target of what is considered a gang-related shooting.
Officers followed a lead that the suspects involved in the attack might be hiding out in a house a couple of blocks away on Cherry Avenue. That prompted a standoff that lasted until about 6 a.m. Tuesday and ended without finding anyone.
No arrests have been made in the shooting. Police say they are looking for a person of interest for questioning, but won't say if this is a suspect.
