25th Annual Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show opens up at the Trac in Pasco

Event organizers say visitors can expect to check out about 100 vendors and exhibitors.

The outdoors came indoors at the Trac Center in Pasco on Friday for the start of the 25th Annual Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show

Event organizers say visitors can expect to check out about 100 vendors and exhibitors.

There are also several attractions including an archery range, a kids fishing pond and campfire cooking demonstrations.

New this year is the Great Bear Show, where visitors can see a real live black bear.

Show spokesman Rob Phillips believes the show has been running for 25 years because the Tri-Cities and Central Washington are big outdoor communities.

"Anybody that enjoys the outdoors will find something either that they'll want to buy or that’s somebody they'll want to talk to or just learn something about the outdoors."

The Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show will be open on Saturday from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and on Sunday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 dollars for children ages six to 12. Children under the age of six are free.

The Trac is located at 6600 Burden Blvd in Pasco.
