Alleged Hermiston drug dealer arrested
UMATILLA COUNTY, Ore. - Sheriff's deputy Nathan Rankin has arrested a man who was believed to be selling several different kinds of drugs.
Umatilla County Sheriff’s (UCSO) Deputy Nathan Rankin arrested 21-year-old Eric D. Sommerville, of Hermiston December 10, after an arrest warrant had been issued.
Reports said Sommerville did not appear in court for a previous drug case.
A news release from UCSO said Deputy Rankin found six different drugs packaged for sale that Sommerville was keeping.
The drugs included almost a half ounce of marijuana, 16 grams of black tar heroin, one gram of cocaine, two grams of brown powder heroin, six grams of methamphetamine and an oxycodone pill.
In addition to the drugs, Rankin also uncovered a set of brass knuckles in the suspect's back pocket, according to reports.
Sommerville has been taken to Umatilla County Jail on multiple drug charges.
