550 people cruised along the Columbia River this afternoon.
That's nearly 150 more participants than a year ago.
The walk raised upwards of $90,000 this morning - all going to the Inland Northwest Alzheimer's Association.
And for the participants the walk means promise for loved ones suffering from Alzheimer's.
"My mom had to endure through her-the disease for nine years - it was really hard, and-but our family went through just not knowing. That's why as a family we do this.," said Local Alzheimer's Association Director Melissa Poland-Anapik.
