Armed robbery in Richland

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Police converged on the Numerica Credit Union on Fowler street Friday night in response to an armed robbery.

Police say three men entered the bank with guns, demanded cash and then bolted. Thankfully, no one was injured. No word on how much cash was snatched. The suspects are still on the loose. A K-9 unit was deployed in efforts to track them down, but to no avail.

"It transitioned from like an active scene into a more of an investigative scene. We have our detective units coming in, and we've been in contact with the FBI, so we'll just process the scene thoroughly, try to develop any investigative leads," said Richland Police Sergeant Darryl Judge.

Multiple agencies responded. Officers are working with neighboring businesses to get more information.
