Authorities catch armed robbery suspect
UMATILLA COUNTY, Oregon -- Detectives have arrested a Walla Walla man who robbed a convenience store while armed with a gun.
Reports said Umatilla County Sheriff's Detectives arrested Denis A. Krivosheenko, 27, after deputies said he robbed a First Stop Mart, December 6.
Detectives worked with the Walla Walla Police Department in identifying Krivosheenko as a suspect.
Reports said Krivosheenko admitted to committing the crime when law enforcement interviewed him.
He is also suspected of forgery and theft crimes in Oregon and Washington and he will likely face other charges.
Krivosheenko is at the Walla Walla County Jail until authorities move him to Umatilla County, according to UCSO reports.
Sheriff's detectives are investigating an armed robbery at the First Stop Mart on Highway 11 in Milton Freewater late Wednesday night.
Detectives say a man, armed with a gun, went into the store located at 85713 Hwy 11 at 11:25 p.m. and demanded money.
The robber is described at being about 5’6” with a slender build, wearing a black zip up hoodie with “AERO” in white lettering on the left side, a white baseball type cap, blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles. His face was covered with a bandana.
Deputies with the sheriff's office say a search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
