Bring your appetites to Downtown Pasco's Fiery Food Festival
PASCO, Wash. -- Bring your appetite to tomorrow's Fiery Food Festival in downtown Pasco.
Paulina Perez and her team at Hot Tamales are busy making 3,000 tamales from scratch for tomorrow's festival.
Perez said the recipe is her mother's, and they're excited to share it for at the festival for the first time.
"I just hope there's a good crowd,” Perez said. “I hope everyone comes out to support everybody because most of the vendors are local vendors, so that would be cool to see."
The festival Saturday will boast it's famous salsa contest, dozens of vendors, food trucks, and a new Chefs on Fire Competition--that's when local chefs go head to head for your vote.
You can come on down to the festival from eleven in the morning to five in the afternoon.
