Business license denied for Kennewick Strip Club
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The city of Kennewick has just denied the business license application for a new strip club on the east side of town.
Officials with the city announced it denied the license for City Star's Gentleman's Club on Friday afternoon.
The application required the approval of the city planning department, police department and fire department.
City leaders say the business owner still needs to submit improvement plans before the application can be approved.
Once renovations are made, city inspectors must examine the changes that were made to the building.
The new club is located on Gum Street near the Cable Bridge. It is in the old Lucky Bridge Casino Building.
The owner of the club planned to open officially at the beginning of next year. We do not know if the planned opening has been delayed.
