California woman dead following car crash in Pasco
PASCO, Wash. - Troopers say a woman has died at a local hospital after she was seriously injured in a car and semi crash.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) reports said two women from Marysville, CA struck a 2001 Mazda van when traffic on I-182 eastbound slowed at milepost 13, August 24, around 4:12 p.m.
A semi truck, driven by 25-year-old Adalberto Alfaro then struck their vehicle, a 2010 Dodge Charger.
Passenger Michelle Ruesser, 41, was seriously injured and medics took her to Kadlec Medical Center, where she later died August 29.
Driver Marina Jones, 41, was not injured in the crash. Neither the driver of the Mazda nor the semi driver were injured.
Detectives are investigating the cause of this collision.
