Cement mixer hits pickup south of Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash. -- Two men were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a cement mixer crashed into a pickup south of Walla Walla.

Washington State Patrol says Cameron Isitt of Walla Walla was driving south on State Route 125 just before 9 a.m. when he turned the mixer to avoid hitting a vehicle stopped at a red light. The mixer then rolled over and collided with a pickup stopped on Old Milton Highway.

Isitt and the driver of the pickup, Clarence Bullock of Milton-Freewater, were both taken to St. Mary Hospital.

WSP says the cement mixer was going too fast for conditions.
