Commissioners to discuss permanent pot ban in Benton County
BENTON COUNTY, Wash. - Benton County Commissioners say they plan to move forward on marijuana ban in the county.
The moratorium will last for a full six months but expires summer of 2018.
Commissioners told Action News Wednesday they plan to have a public comment session at the end of April or in early May to discuss a permanent ban.
The commissioners would then vote on the ban, a ban that would prevent any new marijuana business from opening including shops and grows.
Existing businesses would be grandfathered in, according to commissioners.
