Demand for financial aid growing at CBC

PASCO, Wash. -- The demand for financial aid keeps growing at CBC.

700-applications are still being processed. In this case -- the early bird gets the worm. The backlog is caused by late appliers.

"We've done all kinds of strategies to increase that. We're giving more financial aid out - I believe more than half of our students are on financial aid here at the college - some form of financial aid or scholarship," said CBC Vice President of Administration Bill Saraceno.

The college is offering more than half a million dollars in scholarships. These are awarded on a rolling basis.
