Eagle Scout unveils Remembrance Garden for parents who experienced child loss
KENNEWICK, Wash. - After months of work, a young Eagle Scout unveils a special place for our community at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Eagle Scout, Ashton Chan, created Little Hearts Remembrance Garden as a place for parents who have experienced child loss to visit for healing and reflection.
This tranquil burial site is specially designated for babies born at Trio's Health who are less than twenty weeks gestation.
Eagle Scout, Chan said the end result was all worth it.
"I got to see it come out and what my project looked like at the end, it was really interesting to see how it went from graph paper to real life," Chan said.
The Little Hearts Remembrance Garden is provided as a service of Trios Foundation, Trios Health and Mueller's funeral home.
