Families invited to first glow-in-the-dark egg hunt in Richland
RICHLAND, Wash. - Richland city leaders say they are putting a new twist on a local egg hunt.
Eggnite Richland, formerly known as Morning with Mr. Bunny, will be the first glow-in-the-dark egg hunt hosted by the City of Richland.
The event will include an area for kids ages one to two as well as kids with special needs. A larger area will be designated for kids ages three to 12.
A press release from the city said the evening will also include pizza and soda, bounce houses, train rides and live entertainment on the HAPO stage, including a magic show and steel drum band performance.
The egg hunt will take place March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at John Dam Plaza, located at 815 George Washington Way.
Event organizers encourage hunters to wear their glow-in-the-dark clothes.
This is a free event, according to the press release. HAPO Community Credit Union and the city are supporting the event.
