First "Pub and Grub" brings food truck festival to Richland

The first “Pub and Grub” kicks off at John Dam Plaza in Richland August 12th-13th.

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Calling all foodies! The best of the best breweries and food trucks are gathering all in one place for one weekend of endless tastings.

The first “Pub and Grub” kicks off at John Dam Plaza in Richland August 12th-13th. Locals can enjoy outdoor concerts, a wide variety of food trucks entrees or samplings, and beer and wine garden tastings.

"It's just something new and different,” said Recreation Coordinator for the City of Richland Justin Brown. “Most of our events you come and bring the kids, and the kids have a great time. Well, this event is geared toward everybody.”

Gourmet Grub Bus, one of the newest hot wheels in town, will be there ready to serve a very eclectic menu and a burger that fans say is beyond belief.

“We're all about community,” Gourmet Grub Bus Zac Mason explained about participating in Pub and Grub. “That's how we built our business. A lot of people in the community were involved in helping us get this going. We source from local farmers as much as possible and we use local businesses as much as possible."

Festivities open at 11 AM on Saturday and noon on Sunday. Admission is $5 and tastings are available at all food trucks for $2.50.
