Five Guys Burgers coming to Richland

RICHLAND, Wash. -- KEPR has learned a Five Guys Burgers and Fries is coming to the Queensgate area. It will be in an already-established strip mall at Queensgate and Duportail near Target. The chain has a cult-like following after starting in the Washington, D.C. area. Five Guys earned more attention when President Obama made a stop there and brought burgers back to his staff. Five Guys is also known for its free peanuts, allowing you to toss shells on the floor.

Richland says the franchise will open this Spring and the city is unclear how many jobs this will bring.

According to the Five Guys website, there are more than 1,000 restaurant locations across the country and more than 1,500 units in development.
