The Department of Health tracks these figures and found nearly 20% of Americans with tattoos got them removed last year. That's way up from 10% removal the year before. Locals doctors tell KEPR that here in the Tri-Cities, procedures are being done daily to get rid of unwanted ink.

Eddie Vansperez says, "They get it young and regret it, So they just take it off."

One in three Americans between the ages of 18 and 40 have gotten a tattoo.
