Good News: Air quality improving slightly in Tri-Cities (for now)
TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Folks in the region are waking up to a breathe of fresh air as the air quality improved Sunday morning.
According to the Department of Ecology, the air quality is now unhealthy for sensitive groups.
The latest air sample was tested at 4 AM.
The DOE takes multiple air quality samples a day, and the air quality designation could change.
This does not mean the air is completely safe.
According to the DOE, sensitive groups, such as people with heart and lung disease, asthma, diabetes, infants, children, adults over 65 and pregnant women, should limit their time spent outdoors.
