Habitat For Humanity construction site vandalized

KENNEWICK, Wa. -- They're in the business of helping people, and they're being targeted.
Action News learned Habitat for Humanity is seeing a spike of graffiti at houses under construction. Habitat for Humanity builds homes for struggling families. In the past the few months, workers have become accustomed to seeing equipment vandalized by taggers. They blame the graffiti on teenagers in the area. By spending money on graffiti cleanup, there's less resources to help people in need.

The construction site manager tells KEPR, "Give us a hand. Keep an eye on our buildings because people are breaking into them. And making more damages. We don't know what to do. We can't afford it."

If you have any information about this case, call Kennewick police or the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
