Visiting Angels prepped another 100 "Fight the Flu" bags Friday. They include sanitizer, paper towels and tissues -- all tucked away to give to Tri-Cities seniors. It's the second batch of kits donated this year.
Experts tell us almost 200 people caught the flu the last two weeks.
Workers say this year -- it's not enough to just get a flu shot.
"We have an epidemic going on with the flu and we're hoping to wipe it out by giving to our caretakers and to the public -- along with our clients -- flu kits in order to wipe," said Caregiver Scheduler Toni Bull.
In our state, 34 people have died of the flu. Most were over age 70.
