Kamiakin high school students sign pledge for Anti-Bullying Week
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kamiakin High School students are learning the importance of treating others with respect during Anti-Bullying Week.
Press from Kennewick School District (KSD) said members of Kamiakin's Buddy Club asked students to sign a pledge to not use derogatory words to describe those with disabilities.
The student members then handed out bracelets and donuts to those who took the pledge.
The pledge is part of the Spread The Word To End The Word campaign, a campaign supported by The Arc of Tri-Cities according to school officials.
