Kennewick police asking for assistance in locating teen runaway
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police are asking for help in the search of a runaway after a girl did not return home in early May.
The Kennewick Police Department (KPD) said Justine Hammond, 14, was reported by her parents after she did not return home from a school function May 3, 2017.
After an investigation, detectives say Hammond was not abducted and ran away by her own choosing.
Reports said Hammond's actions since May 3 have shown she is at risk of putting herself in an unsafe situation and she needs to be found.
The 14-year-old has used the alias named of Danielle Gonzales and Lilly Rose according to KPD officials.
A KPD news release says Hammond is 4'11, 115 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
