Police in Kennewick are looking for a man who crashed his car into a pole Wednesday afternoon, then fled the scene.
Witnesses say the man hit the pole near the intersection of West 16th Avenue and South Rainier Street around 3:30 p.m. with his gold Honda Accord.
When one of the witnesses asked the man if he and his dog were all right, he said he was and left the scene.
The driver is described as a white man wearing coveralls and a gray hoodie. His dog is described as a brown and white boxer answering to the name "Bruce."
The Kennewick Police Department has released a photo they say shows the man with his car's bumper in hand as he prepared to flee.
Anyone with information on the driver is asked to contact police.
