Kennewick police continue tracking residential burglaries

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Kennewick Police Department is continuing to investigate a series of residential burglaries near the intersection of Yelm Avenue and U.S. 395. Now, officers say the burglaries may be a continuation of an earlier string of crimes.

Six burglaries have been reported in the area since Feb. 2. All six have taken place between the hours of 6 and 10 p.m. The suspects have taken items ranging from televisions and laptops to safes.

KPD now says these incidents may be related to three residential burglaries that occurred in December just south of Kennewick Avenue.

Police ask that residents of the area check for missing items and report any suspicious people they see.
