Kennewick police discover underground campsite during investigation

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police with the Kennewick Police Department (KPD) have discovered an underground camping site along railroad tracks.

Reports said KPD officials were investigating recent vehicle prowls in Kennewick when they learned a GPS was stolen in one of the vehicle prowls.

Police said the GPS tracker was still active Tuesday, May 9 and traced it to an underground camping site located along railroad tracks in the 900 block of W. Canal Drive.

Police found Deyonna F. Senn, 47, Eldon P. Cooper, 46, and Randy D. Kidder, 28, while searching the campsite according to reports.

KPD officials also uncovered additional stolen property reported in recent vehicle prowls around the campsite.

Police arrested the three suspects for trespassing and stolen property and took them to Benton County Jail according to reports.
