Kennewick under major Air Quality Warning by State Dept. of Ecology
KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Washington State Department of Ecology has issued a new air quality warning this morning for the Tri-Cities region.
Smoke from Canada is blowing into the Columbia basin, and the state is warning residents to avoid the outdoors as much as possible.
The Department of Ecology has issued an orange warning for Kennewick, which means that people suffering from respiratory conditions, like Asthma, will be at risk of respiratory events triggered by the smoky air.
