LDS church in West Richland hosts Christmas Nativity Showcase
WEST RICHLAND, Wash. —
The holidays are here and to get into the spirit, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in West Richland is hosting their 2nd annual Christmas Nativity Showcase.
The event features more than 150 nativity scenes from all around the world, including from Thailand, Nepal and Bethlehem.
Visitors can also listen to live music, check out the Christ art room and even dress up in costumes to take a picture in their own nativity scene.
Showcase co-chair Amanda Hoover says, “It's very warming to see how much people really love Jesus Christ and how they're really trying to get together."
The showcase takes place at 3701 Watkins Way in West Richland.
The event runs from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday night and Saturday from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.
The event is free and open to the public.
