Man hospitalized after crash with truck towing mobile home

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. -- A Moses Lake man has been hospitalized after a semi-truck towing a mobile home crashed into his car Friday morning in northern Franklin County.

Washington State Patrol says Ramon Fuentes was driving south on State Route 17 north of Mesa around 9:15 a.m. when he slowed down to turn onto Paradise Road. A semi-truck driving south on Route 17 failed to slow down and hit his Nissan Maxima.

Fuentes was taken to Kadlec Medical Center. The driver of the semi, Salvador Sanchez of Royal City, will be charged with driving too fast for conditions.
