Mid-Columbia Boat Show attracts boaters from around the Northwest

RICHLAND, Wash. --Boating season in the Tri-Cities kicked off today with the 18th Annual Mid-Columbia boat show in Richland.

People from all over the Northwest have gathered at Columbia Point this weekend to see top of the line boats from the most prestigious manufacturers and dealers.

The event offers something for the beginner to master skipper. It's for everyone who likes skiing, fishing, or just being out on the water for a good time.

Visitors can take a test drive on boats they like and experience fun for the whole family, which is what boaters say summer in the Tri-Cities is all about.

"It's a great place to own a boat," PS Media Mark Showalter said. "You've got all the rivers, nearby lakes, all the fishing and recreation, and you've got all the sunshine."

The show runs April 20th-23rd.
