More demand for Toys for Tots

PASCO - Workers at Toys for Tots tell us they've seen a 20% increase in local registrations. As of this morning - 300 people had already lined up to register.

The organization groups three kids with a family who then gives them gifts. Toys for Tots estimates it will give away 5,000 gifts by the end of the season.

Coordinates tell us they have confidence in the community's generosity to make up for the demand.

"A lot of toys coming in that's really exciting a lot of local sponsorship - a lot of people are stepping up and contributing, but with the levels we're seeing today, we're going to need a lot more," Toys for Tots Local Coordinator Glen Carter.
