Motorcyclist shot in the leg on US 395
PASCO, Wash. - Officers are investigating a motorcyclist shooting that has traffic backed up on US 395.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) trooper Chris Thorson said officers received 9-1-1 calls of a man riding a motorcycle was shot in the leg near milepost 26 (northbound), around 1 p.m. Friday.
WSP arrived and found the man, who was riding with a group of motorcyclists, had been shot. Medics transported him to Lourdes ER in Pasco where he is receiving treatment.
Police detained three people who were part of the motorcyclist group when the victim was shot.
Thorson said the three were taken to the police station for interviewing.
Investigators reported a pistol was located at the scene.
Troopers expect traffic will be backed up for at least the next couple of hours.
Traffic is reportedly backed up to Highway 12 and 182.
