KEPR learned the man is 35-year-old Ismael Maria-Acevedo.
He had been running from police after a fight outside a nightclub. The Yakima man made it about five-blocks before he was cornered by officers at a home on Ninth Street.
Autopsy results don't yet show how he died..but the coroner says he was not killed by a weapon.
Coroner: "There was no tazer marks on the body what so ever."
Reporter: "And in terms of any other weapons?"
"No, no. The only marks that he had were from the hand cuffs on his wrists," says Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel.
Investigators have not ruled out drugs or alcohol as a cause of death. Tests on that could take a couple months.
