New apartment complex looks to meet rental demand

RICHLAND - A new apartment complex in the Tri-Cities looks to meet increased demand. Mosaic on the River hosted its official open house Saturday. It sits right off Duportail on the 240 bypass.

The complex has almost 200 units. And so far, more than 80%of the apartments are filled. Managers say nice housing is needed in the Tri-Cities.

"This is definitely a rapidly growing population. There are several leases up in the area now, and we feel we've been able to hold our own here and offer a product that you don't see otherwise," said Regional Manager Angel Perez.

Mosaic offers one, two and three bedrooms starting at $800 to about $1300.
