New Pasco streetlights will save money

PASCO, Wash. -- A few years ago, Pasco changed out half of the city's streetlights with energy-saving bulbs. Now Pasco is ready to add energy-efficient bulbs to the other half.

This part of the project will cost more than $1 million, but the city expects to save $50,000 a year in energy costs by doing it.

Grants will cover half the bill for the project.
