Ninth Roasters location opens up in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Your favorite local coffee shop might be opening up just around the corner.
Roasters, the infamous Tri-Cities coffee brand, celebrates its ninth location opening tomorrow morning.
It's their first solo drive-thru location they've built from the ground up and is located at a prime spot off Highway 395.
When Roasters first opened after the recession, the owner only had a small business plan to develop a local brand and serve others with five stores. He’s now set a goal to have 25 roasters locations.
"When we first started, we had machines from Craigslist and the coffee we were making was inconsistent,” Founder and Owner Wes Heyden explained. “We just learned by going into what we really believed in. It's a never ending consistent progress towards the end goal of serving the world. "
Stop by the grand opening tomorrow from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. Any 16 ounce drink is only a dollar.
All proceeds will be donated to the Local Royal Family Kids Camp.
