No decision on charges in Pasco shooting
PASCO, Wash. -- Franklin County prosecutors say they haven't decided whether to pursue charges in the early morning shooting of a man at a west Pasco home last week.
County prosecuting attorney Shawn Sant said Tuesday his office will wait for a toxicology report to be completed on Stephan Aceves before determining whether to press charges.
Aceves was shot Friday morning by the owner of a home he had been trying to enter. An autopsy found Aceves died from multiple gunshots to the head and upper body.
Sant said prosecutors will use all available evidence to determine whether the homeowner was justified in his use of force.
Sant provided a full written statement, which can be found here.
