Pasco church is hit with burglary
PASCO, Wash. -- Thieves broke through and stole from a Pasco church this week, but the pastor tells us it could have been much worse.
Churchgoers at Riverview Baptist Church in Pasco found broken glass and rocks they think the robber used to break in, but the criminal only got away with one small TV monitor which the church has already replaced.
"It seems like an awful lot of work for one TV monitor, said Ken Griffin, co-pastor of the church. “And they even left the chords behind to it."
Griffin says they feel blessed because there was no other vandalism. The church is in the process of putting up security cameras to hopefully prevent a break-in like this one in the future.
