Pasco looks at boundary changes

PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NEWS RELEASE -- With the opening of Pasco's newest school, Rosalind Franklin STEM Elementary, which is currently under construction at Road 52 and Powerline, attendance boundaries will change in west Pasco. Parents are invited to attend a public preview session of the springboard proposal to provide input.

Parents are invited to attend any one of five sessions at local schools that will be affected by the proposed boundary changes. The public preview sessions outlining the proposed boundary changes will be held at:

Markham Elementary on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m.
McGee Elementary Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Twain Elementary Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
Livingston Elementary on Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Angelou Elementary on Jan. 21 at 6 p.m.

The same information will be provided at all sessions, so those unable to attend the session at their current home school, are welcome to attend at another school.

Franklin Elementary will also offer parents an "opt-in" choice even if they live in another west side school boundary.
