Pasco PD: Stray Bullet shoots through ceiling and into the bathtub of a mobile home
PASCO, Wash. — Pasco Police were called to a mobile home just after 12:30 this morning after a bullet shot through the home's ceiling
First responders arriving at the Lakeview Mobile Home Park found a bullet hole in the ceiling, and the actual bullet still in the bathtub.
Sgt. Brad Gregory with Pasco Police said folks love celebrating the New Year by firing guns into the air.
Officials said they think the stray bullet came from one of those shots.
The sergeant is reminding everyone not to shoot firearms into the air during this, or any holiday, because it's both illegal to do in most cities in our area and very dangerous.
"Think before you do something like that," he said. "Because what goes up, must come down. If you hurt somebody with a bullet that came out of your gun you could be charged criminally. And we will try to find you."
Officials said the children living in the home weren't there at the time of the incident but under different circumstances somebody might have been killed.
