Pasco police arrest suspect for stabbing a woman's stomach
PASCO, Wash. - A woman has been stabbed in the stomach and Pasco police have arrested the suspected stabber.
Police discovered the wounded woman around 1:30 a.m. Friday at the Loyalty Inn on W Lewis Street after receiving reports of a group fighting in the parking lot.
Medics transported the stabbing victim to a local hospital, according to reports.
Witnesses described the stabbing suspect as a man with a tattooed swastika on his chest.
Police spotted the suspect, Vance Davis, 23, running away from the scene of the stabbing with another man. According to reports, Pasco police caught up with the suspect at S 22nd Ave and W A Street and arrested him.
Authorities arrested Davis and booked him into Franklin County Jail on assault charges. Reports said police also arrested a second suspect involved, Dezmend Slind, 18.
Investigators learned that Davis had prior convictions of possession of a stolen vehicle and residential burglary.
