Pasco police looking for suspects in armed robbery

PASCO POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE -- On March 1, 2014 at approximately 11:30 PM two mask men entered the hotel lobby of the Sleep Inn in Pasco. One of the two men displayed a black semi auto handgun and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash from the hotel clerks.

The men who were dressed in dark clothing, wearing bandanas over their face, and latex gloves fled out the front door on foot, last observed running behind the building towards the freeway. Police K-9 tracks and area searches indicate the two left the area in an awaiting motor vehicle.

Because of the time of the evening, when the robbery occurred, police believe that people moving about the area may have observed the robbers coming and going form the hotel and or observed a suspicious vehicle in the area. Pasco Police are requesting should anyone have information in reference to the robbery to contact police.
