Pasco puppies left for dead now adopted into healthy homes
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Back in February, a man dumped newborn chihuahuas in a car wash trash bin in Pasco. Now after being left for dead, the dogs have fully recovered.
The puppies are now old enough to be given homes. Tri-Cities Animal Shelter was open for adoption this morning and two of the pups, Diamond and Petunia, found their owners immediately. A third, Puma, was just adopted this afternoon. But, their mother is still looking for a home.
New owner Pat Shupe said, "I named her Hope because we're going to give her hope for a better future."
You can go to Tri-Cities Animal Shelter if you're interested in adopting.
