Police catch juveniles in middle school spray painting incident
WEST RICHLAND, Wash. - Police have charged several juveniles with malicious mischief after graffiti was discovered on a middle school playground.
West Richland Police Department (WRPD) reports said juveniles were spray painting buildings and a playground at Enterprise Middle School late Tuesday, May 16.
Officials said the spray paint images were not depicted as gang related but instead looked to be Sponge Bob Square Pants characters.
Police charged the juveniles with malicious mischief and released them to their parents.
WRPD officers said there wasn't much damage done to the school as a result of the graffiti and the markings will be cleaned up.
