Police: Ex-boyfriend used dog door to find Pasco woman and kill her

PASCO, Wash -- Pasco police believe Aaron Newport, 36, used the dog door at a home on Redonda Drive to reach his ex-girlfriend and murder her before killing himself.

Investigators believe the crime occurred Saturday morning. The bodies were not found until about 48 hours later.

Officers say Monique Williams, 28, had defensive wounds and was shot once in the head. There was evidence of a struggle in the master bedroom.

After killing Williams, Pasco police believe Newport then shot himself. Shell casings for only two bullets were found.
