Police find stolen truck with stolen goods

KENNEWICK POLICE RELEASE - Kennewick Police Criminal Apprehension Team detectives were in the area of 1100 N. Buchanan St. on an unrelated investigation. Detectives observed a 2003 GMC Sierra pickup with switched license plates. Detectives investigated further, and discovered the vehicle was stolen in a Richland residential burglary from 01/06/14. The truck was full of property to include four truck tires, motorcycle ramp, eight red gas cans, Honda generator, deer antlers, clothing and hand tools. Detectives believed the truck was associated with a neighboring apartment. Detectives contacted the apartment and arrested Daniel O. Batsell for possession of a stolen auto, and seven arrest warrants. The stolen vehicle was impounded, and detectives are investigating to see if the property in the truck is stolen from other burglaries in the Tri-Cities.
