Police in Kennewick looking for man wanted for attack against girlfriend Thursday

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police and Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are looking for a man who is alleged to have attacked his girlfriend Thursday.

UPDATE: Pereyda turned himself in to police when he saw his picture on Facebook Thursday. He was arrested and booked for 2nd degree domestic violence assault according to reports.

Kennewick Police Department (KPD) reports said Javier Pereyda, 24, is wanted for domestic violence assault that occurred Thursday around 2:00 a.m.

KPD officials said Pereyda fled the scene before police were able to respond.
