Police looking for man who allegedly broke into cars in College Place

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. - Police are trying to identify a man who is suspected of breaking into multiple cars and stealing items.

[Update, Feb. 15] The College Place Police Department (CPPD) says Jeremy Roe is a suspect in four reported car prowls over the weekend in a College Place neighborhood.

Reports from the CPPD said a security camera captured a man riding his bike at someone's home and checking if a parked car was unlocked, then shining a flashlight in the car window. Detectives said this person is possibly the car prowler.

The man also shattered a window of another car parked nearby, police said.

Officers are asking people to lock their car doors and remove valuable items from inside to help avoid future car prowls.

Police say they are now looking for Rowe. Anyone with information regarding Rowe's location is asked to call the CPPD at 509-394-8550.
