Police booked Box into the Benton County Jail.
Officers say they are actively attempting to locate other individuals responsible for the assault.
Detectives returned to Howard Amon Park this afternoon to search for more evidence in this case. Richland Police say the park will be open during its normal hours.
The Richland PD says it plans to release more information on this case soon.
Sergio Rivera was shot several times at Howard Amon Park on July 4th.
Police say the shooting happened after a lengthy argument between two groups of people.
Hundreds of people, including small children, were at the popular park enjoying holiday celebrations when the shooting sent the crowd of people scattering
