Prosecutor's office save tax payer dollars on remodel

BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- The Benton County prosecutor's office just got a makeover and KEPR found out they got a good deal, minimizing the use of your tax payer dollars.

The remodel consisted of a couple new offices and furniture. Before this was just small cubicles. Attorneys are working private cases and appeals in this area, so they now have much more privacy when meeting with clients and other attorneys.

Pam Bradshaw works in the prosecutor's office. She tells KEPR, "It's very private, I now have walls that go up to the ceiling, so I can get a lot more work done."

The county got a 60% discount on the furniture..through a local company. The total cost of the project, including construction was $20,000
